Prerequisites of CDPSE Training 

 

  • For attending training - Experience in Information Security and Data Privacy. 
  • For ISACA CDPSE Certification.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in data privacy governance, privacy architecture, and/or data lifecycle work. 
  • No experience waivers or substitutions. 

 

CDPSE Exam and Certification information 

 

  • 3.5 hours (210 minutes) 

  • 120 multiple choice questions 

  • Conducted at ISACA Test Centers 

  • Proctored Exam

Domain 1 – Privacy Governance (Governance, Management & Risk Management)
  • Identifying organizational internal and external privacy requirements 
  • Privacy impact assessments (PIA) 
  • Establishing privacy policies, procedures and implementing them 
  • Privacy incident management process 
  • Privacy training and awareness sessions 
Domain 2 – Privacy Architecture
  • Privacy monitoring and control procedures  
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to address privacy compliance and risk mitigation. 
  • Design, establish and implement the enterprise architecture and information architecture required to data privacy initiatives. 
  • Identifying privacy-related technological trends and changes in the regulatory requirements 
Domain 3 – Data Lifecycle
  • Identify privacy requirements related to data lifecycle practices. 
  • Establishing and implementing data lifecycle procedures in sync with privacy policies and business needs 
  • Design, implement and monitor processes and procedures related to the inventory and dataflow
